How to Deliver an Excellent Connected Journey Experience

We are already on a journey to the Connected World of the future, where high-quality, ubiquitous connectivity will soon be as essential as water and air. The Connected Car will form a crucial part of this exciting new world, and will bring the need for a seamless communication experience right across the highways network. All of this is achievable without the need for any massive investment in the infrastructure without the need for probes, traces or dependence on GPS data.

As algorithm research continues to develop at a rapid pace, the power of AI – and specifically pattern recognition – is creating a blueprint for the connected journey experience. Moving beyond solutions that merely troubleshoot complaints or address specific problems, advanced analytics that operate on a 24/7 basis are continually monitoring and refining the user experience. This offers an efficient and extremely cost-effective alternative to overcoming the limitations of traditional drive-testing, which will be unable to meet the stringent needs of connected journey optimization.

In the next few years, all kinds of systems and ‘Things’ will be connected — not only highways and cars, but also buildings, and eventually whole cities and communities will rely on constant connectivity in order to function.
